Saving Lives One Chip at a Time

How a Little Data Chip Gives Hope to Pediatric Cancer Patients

The Morgan Adams Foundation in Denver, CO is helping to save the lives of pediatric cancer patients in Children’s Hospital and beyond with a revolutionary new technology called a chip. Each chip provides the ‘fingerprint’ of a patient’s unique cancer, which allows researchers and doctors identify which treatments might help not only this particular patient, but also patients in the future. Eli Gold, age 7, and his family have participated in the chip program–not just to help Eli in his cancer fight, but to provide hope and resources to other children with the same kind of tumor in the future.
