One Pilot Way too Young to Come Down

Cary Alburn, EAA member and participant at the 2012 Oshkosh AirVenture, has been flying the same plane for over 50 years. One of fifty-eight built between 1962 and 1963, this little plane, like Cary, has a lot of tenacity and doesn’t plan on turning in anytime soon. Even when faced with a scary diagnosis, Cary pushed forward and continued to live his life. Now, age sixty-nine and cancer free, Cary still enjoys flying and staying active.
